Kijk, als ik zo'n verslag lees dan kan ik dus echt niet thuisblijven..
"seriously, these guys were so friggin amazing! i saw them twice 2 weeks ago and already want to see them again so badly it hurts.
- 4 guys - 2 play guitar and 2 have various electronic gizmos
- about 4 guitar amps
- 23 of their own massive speakers stacked behind them.
thats all they had. and they were dressed up like druids.
they walk out amongst a cloud of smoke and plug their guitars in. hold them above their heads for about 10 seconds then BAM! they both simultaneously let rip with a massive droning bass heavy riff. The wall of sound from the speakers makes your body shake all over. and it feels fucking awesome! it's kinda like being in a spa with the jets on...
they hold the riff for a couple of minutes then bring in another riff, then another, then another..... and so on. The eletronic guys are supplying some subtle textures and glitches and bassy pulses to add to the guitar drones but it's the guitars that are the primary focus.
the volume is quite loud but little do you know that they only have their amps on about half volume! as they go on they crank their amps up at different stages. By the end your ankles and knees are aching slightly due to the vibrations and you are in a trance like state. you feel like you are sinking into the floor and you cannot move. many people who looked pretty hardcore and happy with themselves at the beginning have freaked out and moved up the back but the truely cool (like me ) are staying.
once they end the main guy throws his bottle of beer into the crowd and screams "bon fucking scott!" (as in the original lead singer of AC/DC) of over and over for a little while then leaves. and that was it. the best fucking concert i've ever seen by a fucking mile."

Goed, oordoppen mee dus. Al heb ik het vermoeden dat we hier meer last zullen krijgen van maagklachten. ;)
